Urban turban – how do you wear yours?

Have you noticed it’s suddenly started to get a bit nippy in the mornings – a sure sign that Autumn is here, and if we don’t act ‘sharpish’ before we know it there’ll be snow! Autumn is my favourite season of the year, but sadly it is all too short. And every year there is that same anticipation about getting your favourite boots on again and getting dressed up warm for winter. Odd - this maybe a peculiarly British trait!

Our new Autumn/Winter hat collection has arrived and we hope you’ll find them pretty to wear and super practical. Great everyday styles like Gwen and Meena, which instantly lend a little ‘oomph’ to you and your outfit on a cold, grey day. Beautifully soft and super cosy to wear in lovely wintry colours. (Remember if you set your hat at a slight angle it is far more flattering to the face, than if you pull it square down on your head!) If you’re worried about over heating once you come in from the cold, then think about layering headwear items. Take a look at our knitted headbands - great at keeping your ears warm without completely overheating. Apart from the practical considerations they look instantly pretty and feminine, adding soft volume around the face. They’re also a great way of ringing the changes so that your headwear can change and co-ordinate with a range of items from your wardrobe.

Headband Gwen

Our first waterproof hat has arrived – Patsy took some tracking down, but we reckon this has got to be the ultimate in looking good come lashing rain, wind or high water! Super soft fleece lining with waxed cotton outer – an elasticated Baker Boy cap style cut nice and low, with a good size soft peak that frames the face nicely (peak crushes easily, so no chance of you knocking it off or askew). When you’re not stepping out across the windswept wastelands of your local park or rugby pitch (or come to think of it supermarket car park!), you might want some beautifully soft, flattering female hair loss headwear to simply carry on doing what you’ve always done. Inga and Rose are very versatile, in so much as they are easy shapes to wear, and can be dressed up or down. Inga initially released in two colours, (with more on the way soon), as we’re confident you are going to love the feel of this hat and the compliments will come flooding in. (Rose is a limited addition, so if you like it snap it up fast!)

More winter styles will be released as we roll on into the festive social season, so keep an eye posted on the website. Miranda is the first of our new dressy styles to appear. Nothing like a little sparkle to lift the spirits! You can always email us if you have a burning desire to find a certain item or simply wish to tell us how we can improve the current range. Two of our clients go straight to the top of the class with their marvellous suggestions for Bea – the ‘Ascot’ version (added midway through the summer range) and some recent fabulous suggestions for useful updates to the Pella Bedhead style. Both really useful, but pretty styles for female hair loss. We always welcome suggestions and we won’t know whether we can do it, until we’re asked! Have a lovely Autumn - kicking up leaves and collecting conkers…of course!
