The first of our Spring edits is here! We’ve designed some new stylish turbans in brilliant colours, added colours to our infinity band range and selected some new chemo headscarves for their prints and soft feel.

Shape changers

Increasingly we’re being asked for turban styles that have height and volume and offer a distinctive fashion ‘look’. Why?  Mainly because both height and volume make the hat easier to wear well and are more flattering to the face. The turban ‘arriver en force’ this season as the fashion accessory of the moment. We simply ensure our turbans are cut slightly deeper at the back and have plenty of fabric to compensate for the lack of hair underneath – Gigi and Maye.  Another excellent way of distracting the eye and disguising defined head shape is fabric pattern.  Our new turban – Alegra – has been designed with this in mind.

Casual good looks

If you feel a ‘full on’ turban to be too dressy for your everyday style, then take a look at our Infinity band and Kimmy headwear sets. The casual look and feel of the jersey headband plays down the ‘film star drama’, but adds the all important height and volume around the head and a little low key ‘va-va-voom’! If you wear the Kimmy on its own you’ll see the effect immediately when you layer the band over the top. Great colours for Spring – with more to follow for the summer months.

Prints and silky soft headscarves for hair loss

Scarves are always useful items and we’re choosy about what we select for our clients. We always select on print / texture, fabric feel, size and how the scarf looks when tied 360 degrees around the head. This year we’ve selected strong geometric prints and soft muted colours to mix with your linens and summer separates. If you’re after a little lux’ for your head you can’t wrong with a beautiful silk scarf. Cool summer wear due to its natural properties and with a soft sheen, silk is always elegant and chic.  Summer Butterfly shown here has just arrived but equally stunning is In The Pink.  All scarves shown are tied based on our easy turban tying guide.

In our next edit we’ll be taking a look at our brimmed summer hats worn with silk bandanas – a.k.a channeling your inner Kylie Minogue!  Please contact us if you have any queries about the headwear styles shown or require more info’ on turban tying with our scarves.

Happy Easter!
