Fit & Sizing
All our hats are made to a standard head fitting of 56cms, although there is some variation between the style sizes. However, before placing your order please measure your head fitting by placing a tape measure ‘red indian’ style around your forehead. Most female head sizes are between 54-58 cms, if your head measurement is smaller/larger than this, please call us before you place your order and we can advise you which styles offer some flexibility. This will avoid any disappointment of hats not offering the best fit.
As the Suburban Turban range is made up of soft Lycra jersey that hugs the head, most head shapes can be accommodated. With the flexibility and give in our products, common issues that appear with structured hats just don’t happen with our headwear. For example, if you have a more oval shaped head then you may have experienced gapping around the head fitting at the sides. Our hats will simply mould to your head shape.

- If you are between sizes in the above chart, choose the bigger size
- Please bear in mind that if you are a 53-54cm head fitting, our styles will not appear too big or loose on you due to the Lycra jersey content, they will simply offer a more flattering fullness around the face, see example below.

If the hat you received does not fit, recheck your size and email us at nicky@suburbanturban.co.uk this is the quickest way to let us know you are sending it back and we can exchange it for a better fit. Hats returned in unused condition with all tags in place can be returned or refunded within 14 days of purchase.
